Dear Mom,

I miss you.  I wish you were here so that I could talk to you.

We've been practicing hard for Mai Kahiki Mai the past few weeks & tonight we were told that we were dancing our auana songs from Ia Oe.  And then we had to go over them.  The last time I danced this song....was so very special to me, something i'll take with me for the rest of my life.  Waiting back stage before going on & then being the last one on stage & looking over at you before we got started & then crying at the very end...

I'll never forget this moment...
